Has rang 3 times in twenty minutes asking for someone who left the company over a decade ago. Then asking for the person who deals with the energy account (we have a broker who deals with it all on our behalf) and when told we are not interested rings back anyway.

SCAM: Phone rang and then caller, a computer, hung up when I didn't speak! Suspected computer call trying to sniff out voice lines. If you answer then the line is detected as 'a voice line' and will usually be logged or routed through to a sales person. You'll be called back later by some sales dude. They're usually trying to flog or get you to sign up for house insulation or some scam survey based on a government scheme. They're usually quick to say they're not selling, simply enquiring; surveying; etc.

This person claimed to be from virgin media and said he needed to take over my router when asked what my name was he hung up clearly a scam

Claimed to be calling from o2 offering 40% discount. I was sent a text message with a code and asked for the code. (suspicious) I was then asked for the answer to my security question. (dead giveaway)

This number is from scammers in Birmingham wanting your bank details to repay you home appliance warranty overpayments that do not exist. Usually get three to four calls per week from same people using different numbers. They tell you that you have overpaid and they are from the refund department and can only pay your refund directly into your bank account DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS. Call from ‘Michael’ of PrimeInvest wanting to refund £11000 of my £250 deposit, but first I need to download anydesk, a popular tool for fraudsters to use to get control of your computer. In their facebook ads PrimeInv.co purport to offer AI trading. Their “registered address” is the Google offices in Zurich. They’ll take your money but don’t expect to see any back.

I was rang and the caller was ringing about diesel claims again When I told him I wasnt interested and to remove me from the database he shouted me down and asked me why I was interested He continued to talk over me saying he was working alongside the Dept of Transport and I should listen to him NUMBER BLOCKED

Called from "my bank security" telling me that my card (no ref to debit or credit )had been used for £300 to Amazon and over £1000 to an international transaction. Usual press 1, 2 etc. DO NOT RESPOND. This is a premium call no. and you will be charged upwards of £20 just for dialling and then a high charge per second. DO NOT ANSWER OR HANG UP.
