I have witnessed family getting harassment calls, invoices and debt collection threats from these stupid people. The magazine they claim to place ads in, is also aware of their scam and of course has no arrangement with them whatsoever. Gentleman called claiming to represent O2 and offering a 30% christmas promotional discount..... O2 had been previously instructed not to call me for marketing purposed. Whilst it may be legitimate, it screamed scammers
Ringing 3 times a day over ebay fees not paid due to a dispute. Had settled matter with ebay directly before the calls started. Good thing iphones have a block number facility :)
DIGITAL SOLUTIONS MARKETING COMPANY Called the number back and you could select option 1 to no longer receive calls from them. However they shouldn't be using my number in the first pace as it's protected by the Telephone Preference Service. Hung up when I said I wasn't the person they were after - so rude and annoying. These companies should be made responsible for their actions and fined for doing such things.
Call center Said they're calling about my O2 mobile phone account. I don't even have a mobile phone account with O2. :D When I told them that, they tried again with a different mobile phone provider. When I said I don't have an account with that provider either & said I don't get involved in scams, they hung up.

Call centre stating that I may be eligible for loft insulation / help with my heating bills under a new government scheme. Caller went on to ask if I was a home owner and if I worked full time or if I was entitled to any tax credits and whether my heating was mains fed or fuel. When I stated that my house was mains fed I was advised that I don't qualify. The call ended.
