Getting a load of calls just hangs up when I answer, is always engaged on callback

Automated call claiming to be from HMRC due to fraud on 'my account' with the threat of immediately being arrested if I didn't continue with the automated call - hung up as I find this highly unlikely.

Another International call - anyone know who they are as didn't answer and they never left a message on answer machine?

It s a scam. Pretend to be HRMC and demanding tax payments. Hang up

Claimed to be from the Credit Investigation Department and, when I told her that I had no outstanding debt, she hung up. Quick search uncovered FCA web page that states: "We believe this firm has been carrying out consumer credit activities in the UK without our permission or authorisation. Calked this morning. Didn't answer as I don't answer numbers I don't know. Left a strange voicemail. Googled the number came up as a scam caller.

Rang my phone 4 times in an hour and when I picked up the line there was no one on the other end of the line.

Call from this company Indian man stated he was from citizens advice bureau and said they had received a legal application for debt I owed. I advised have no debt and he hung up

I would urge anyone receiving calls from this number to report their experience to Action Fraud and Ofcom. This number belongs to a company called Allclaim Solutions, but they might call themselves ACS. They target the elderly and vulnerable and their main objective is to obtain bank details for anything from insurance for washing machines to rebates for Council Tax. It s a complete scam. They try and convince you that you have insurance for your washing machine and it has expired and needs renewing. They a
