There was no third party involved, only myself, yet they keep on ringing and telling me this (presumably they want my bank details). Called today. Recorded voice claiming to be from my broadband provider and they will be terminating my service due to suspicious traffic. Unable to disconnect the call till I had pressed the disconnect button several times and even after the voice stopped an obvious line was still open even though I could dial. If they call you ensure you have cleared the call before calling your Internet provider or use a different phone so they don't record your details.

Was told they were Consumer helpline, and i was owed an over payment on a loan in 2011. Never had a loan. so they were phishing. Was told they had been given the wrong information.
