I answered once, sad computer scam wanting all your computer details, told them I had no computer, they rang off immediately!!! There was a gap of a few months and then my call minder registers they call, regularly, sometimes three times a day. I now screen calls with call minder but it is maddening to have to clear the call minder daily as they are not the only Company who harass in this way. Would be great if this kind of thing could be stopped for good.
SCAM Indian lady wanted me to give her my bank account details and dob in order to refund me £202. She said she represented Sky refund dept who had discovered they had been overcharging me for the past 12 months. I said that was odd as I am not a Sky customer. She gave her work address as 81 Newgate St, London. I pointed out that address is occupied by BT. She said Yes, BT and Sky now work together. She gave the postcode as OA4902. I pointed out there is no such postcode in UK.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. CARE - Scam number - automated call purporting to be from Inland Revenue - threatening cancellation of National Insurance Number due to apparent illegal activity - financial threats got stronger during the call if no action taken - instructed to press "1" to be connected to "customer service officer". Presumably, if pressed "1", would then be coerced to divulge bank or card details or other information - CARE.
