Received a call from an unknown telephone number at 09 42 I was informed that a large amount of money had been taken from my current bank account and they wanted to know my security code etc . Poor reception where I was when I answered so they couldn't hear me, but they knew my name, eventually they hung up. I rang the number back later and immediately heard an automated message saying my custom was important to them and I would be answered by the next available agent but no-where in the message did they reveal who they were so hung up.

As of writing, 3 different numbers tried to call me today (020 8956 2943, 020 8956 2230 and 020 8956 2601). They all start with 020, I don’t know anyone who owns those numbers, maybe the same individual is using different numbers to call me. Likely a fraud and now it’s harassing.

Scammers pretending to be from Three contacting ex customers of Three for final payments. Threes payment number is 0800 033 8033 so it is close. Three send final bills by email so no need to contact anyone from an 0800 number.

Asian voice claiming to be Jenny from Openreach about my internet. I cut her off.
Left a message on my answer phone which was difficult to understand but appeared to be about an address for parcel delivery. They never said who they were or asked if I was the person they were trying to contact and further investigation showed that calls to this number cost 16p a minute from a landline plus a setup fee of 23p.
