SCAM Said they are a credit agent trying to recover an outstanding student loan. Told her I never had a student loan as I didn’t go to university, I went straight into full time employment when I left school. She then got aggressive demanding I pay now or else. So I said I’m handing your number to the police and I have recorded the conversation. Then she swore for a few seconds then hung up.

I got a call from this number this afternoon. My policy is not to answer calls which are not on my contact list. No message was left on my answering machine. I barred it and this allows me to call it but when it phones me it will get the engaged tone and pay for it. I phoned the number and my provider says it does not recognise the number. Another exciting day at the office.

The users of these numbers are very difficult to understand. I only understood anything because booking number, but that was about it. I said several times that you should call me only if you can speak properly and normally. But so far nothing.

Mentions checking National Insurance number check. Obvious scam as some of the grammar is confused but quite alarming on first hearing. this number has called several times saying they are from british gas accounts, I told an asian sounding guy I wasn twith British gas so he kept asking who my supplier wa, I told him I wasn t prepared to give him that information and hung up. I had already checked this number and contacted my supplier(British gas lite) who assured me my account is an online product and under no circumstances would they phone me.
