01147001569 I received phone call from this number today. When I picked up and say hello, there was only recorded answer that I need to call back this number because there is important stuff from HMRC that I need to sort out. The end of the message was a threat that if I don't they will contact authorities. I just want to let you all know , that HMRC will never call you- they will ALWAY send you a letter. It is a SACM.
I have witnessed family getting harassment calls, invoices and debt collection threats from these stupid people. The magazine they claim to place ads in, is also aware of their scam and of course has no arrangement with them whatsoever. Report them to Trading Standards and Action Fraud and if they send letters, ignore them but keep a record of them so that when they do get caught (a matter of time) you can contribute evidence if required. SCAM Claiming to be from NHS and asked if I wanted a Covid vaccination, told me I needed to give them my bank details to confirm who I was.
Call made from Liverpool but caller had a foreign accent, she tried to make me change my phone provider saying she could find a cheaper provider. elsewhere. She was very persistent even after telling her I had just signed up with another provider and was under contract. Said her name was Angela Mayer.

SCAM - Person claimed they were from UK Insurance Department / Black Horse Finance. Had my name & first line of my address (somewhat disturbingly) and wanted me to verify further information for a PPI refund, even though I had never claimed for a PPI refund. They wouldn't give me a number to call and when I said this couldn't be correct, the date for claiming for PPI has long gone and companies aren't ringing people out of the blue years when they haven't claimed, he hung up.
