This is an affiliated number belonging to a set redirected through a Company called Nexbridge Communications Ltd. They re a bunch of prats with nothing better to do than flog any old crap for clients and their call redirection service will show different locations where the call came from. They need debt advice themselves as their Directors are in debt up to their eyeballs! I had a call from 08004118899 trying to persuade me to buy plan to cover a Hotpoint washing machine as according to them my warranty has expired. Since I have never registered this machine and I doubt the respected shop from which it was bought would give them my details I was suspicious of their company and proposed service. Looking at these comments it would appear I am correct in resisting their advances.

Type of call: Attempted Fraud! Lady called Carol with a strong Indian accent pretending to be from Microsoft and trying to gain remote access to my PC. Definitely not Microsoft, definitely not calling from the UK, and definitely a scam.

I hung up immediately. Similar numbers calling during three days since 21 Jan 2021 claimed to be Amazon chasing payment.
