This is the scam taking storm. Originally Located in MAHARASHTRA,Pune. Taking PPI claimers as prey. Offering to come round to your house with a check if you give them a small sum of money and UKash vouchers to claim the PPI compensation. NEWS FLASH you never receive the check. West Mercian Police will be informed. To knowledge West Yorkshire Police already know about this scamming system.
Please be aware of text messages and emails saying you are due a refund. Been reported high in 2016 - Poss scam received emails and text reference road tax refund. Does help if I own a car!!!
I had a call from this number re. the end of a mobile phone contract. It seemed very dodgy, but I checked with the mobile provider directly, and the people calling from this number are genuine partners. Badly handled in terms of the explanation and also seem to have access to very out of date data. So poor outsourcing exercise at best. Either way - these are genuine people linked to T-Mobile.
"Insurance Review" - cold call - no idea where they got my number from. And the guy was rude when I said I wasn't interested!

Automated call with message saying it was to do with tax offices and to press one, so hung up. If it was important and for me personally they would phone directly in person and even then I wouldn't trust them as its too insecure a method. Tax office posts normally.
