Scam parcel re delivery to obtain personal details, delete
SCAM Called to say my home appliance cover will be discounted. Gave the name of Chris Jones and a contact number of 08007789104. Gave him false sort code and account number to see where this was going. He asked me to "confirm" my date of birth also gave him a false date, he missed the fact it was April Fool's day. As he was about to terminate the call I pointed out the date and said all the stuff I'd given him was false and hung up. He called back asking what I meant, then called back again, to

Keep phoning and when answer the phone they hang up ( first time today a Indian woman voice very distant can you hear me hello ) then hung up . Very frustrating
I've worked in customer service multiple times, one thing I've been told which is common sense is not to spam our customers with calls, maximum I'd call is 2 times for a single customer then stop. Whoever's number this is has been calling everyday for the past few weeks which is 100% a scam. They claim to be e-on which is fake because their number isn't on e-ons website + they wouldn't be calling everyday. One thing to note is spammers can make their numbers look the same of a legitimate company number so b

Said they were from EE, asked me to confirm I had a 2 year contract based on the last 4 digits of my phone number (I don't but said yes to spur him to his next talking point) then said I'd won 40% discount. Recieved call from this number on my work phone. I am a building manager located in Auckland, New Zealand and have nothing to do with the locality it is based in. Going by past experience calls to my work phone from overseas numbers are always scams, didn't answer and having looked on this website it appears I was correct.
No idea who called me.. I have just tried to call back and it went straight to music .. So I'm assuming waiting for the next available agent. I've had three missed calls from this number and no voicemail messages left. Really annoying actually. I don't pick up call from numbers I don't recognise.
Caller stated that they were from Amazon "odu" or "O.U" and related to a payment for an "iPhone 30". I told them they need a better scam and they hung up. Female sounding person with a strong Nigerian accent.
