scam pretending to be BT
Fraud: I received regularely calls from this nummer. When I answered, a man presented himself as a Microsoft helpdesk consultant who wanted to help me resolving performances issues on my desktop. They started asking me a lot of interventions and at a certain moment, I understood they were hackers. I cut off the connection before they could take control of the machine but they blocked the access to my login windows. I recovered access finally by reading the disk
SCAM Ignored and went to voicemail. Robot voice message. Claims to be from HMRC "If we do not hear from your or your solicitor, you will face legal action. Please take this seriously."

They called me, I answered, they hung up. I called back and a young scouse lady said 'Hi, you're through to Drive Care Solutions, how can I help?' At which point ...

Claimed to be from Three offering me a new handset. Definite scam!
SCAM This number is associated with a banking scam. Call received on 26 April 2024, claiming to be a banking service and reporting that there had been two unusual transactions on our bank account (no details were given as to which bank account) including a payment to an overseas account of £1,100. Inviting me to press a button for further details or to speak to a member of staff. I didn't say anything and didn't press any buttons!
Caller asked for me when I said hello they switched off . Tried ringing back op says not valid number
Uncle buck loans, very dodgy how they use a local number but definitely not a local firm. Scam be careful
Call arrived whilst I was in the republic of Moldova. I work with victims of child-trafficking in that region and my number is only used for emergencies from agencies relating to the subject. Consequently, I tried returning the call with several connections, but the call eventually dropped out. When I returned home discovered I still had to pay for the calls at a rate of GBP£1.27 per connection, plus the same cost for having answered the incoming call! Caveat Emptor!

7 times in the last 2 days they harrass me
As with others this call was based on the M/S Windows approach. He also had the product serial code. Was suspicious from the start but asked him to phone back when he wanted me to use third party software so that his technicians could access the machine. The call echoed a lot at my end so I think not Bradford based. I made 25 +minutes. Had I realised it was competitive I would have kept fumbling along!

SCAM / SPAM Said I entered a competition when I did not got my date of birth wrong tried to get my information for free lotto draws.. They just want your info.
I no longer answer my telephone. The answering machine is always on and so if no message is left they usually ring back the following day at a different time. No message - no call returned
