I received an automated call this morning from 01224 593160 reputing to be from Amazon and stating that my Amazon account was showing that I had ordered an expensive lap top. For me to confirm the order I was asked to press 1 and to cancel the order to press 2, but I have been made aware from friends who have had similar experiences that should one press 1 or 2 there will be a minimum phone charge of £50! It is not the first time I have received automated calls from this number purporting to be from Amazon!

SCAM - said it’s from Evri and there was a failed delivery attempt and had a link to arrange re delivery - I have had messages from Evri in the past and the name comes up Evri not a number so this is definitely a scam - don’t click the link.
