SCAM. Another call from what seems to be a call centre in Manchester. Soon as you answer the call is cut off. Probably to see if line is still active. In the last month I have had 20 calls from the same area but different numbers. I've logged this as a scam because if itwas genuine the caller would have answered or left a message. I do not know this #.
Potential (likely) scam.. recorded message pertaining to be from the Government, possibly a tax related fishing scam although not 100% sure as the beginning of the message didn't play. Hung up when it asked me to "press 1 to continue"
Probable scam. Automated recorded voice told me that my Amazon Prime acount would be renewed for some amount (I didn't write it down). I don't have Amazon Prime, so I hung up. I suspect the rest of the recording would have told me to ring some premium number on some pretext.

Called at midday today, didn t leave a message. UK area code 01881 is not currently in use, so the number is fake.
Government says from HMRC fraud department asked me my details i asked him how did he obtain my number and contact me by post he put the phone down suspicious ????
Call to mobile from this unknown number - no message left. Looks like a soliciting call.
hello I also received a phone call today from this number - claimed to be from Amazon Prime. just hung up.
