I was called by someone calling himself "Yogi" allegedly from Carphone Warehouse and I renewed my contract through him with Vodafone. The incentive being a substantial cash back deal. The cheques never appeared and Vodafone do not know anything about the deal (so they say). Vodafone are refusing to honour the deal and I have reported them to trading standards and the communications commission as they are saying they cannot see on their system who renewed the contract. Got a text from this number claiming to be from EE, asking me to update billing information as they could not process my last bill with a link to follow.
Claimed to be Das Energy working with the Government to monitor energy supply rates and would check the rates we were offered at renewal against rates they could get from the same suppliers, but the started going on about they were trying to book 2017 rates for future renewals so clearing looking for a sale not at renewal. Reported to IOC as were are registered with TPS.
Financial ombudsman s office. Left a message. Was expecting a call from them.
