SCAM / SPAM leaves automated message, refuses to identify who/what they are calling about. Only scammers operate like that. I see others mentioning it's paypal... but the number they're calling on is one paypal DO NOT have.

I answered the call to get a recorded message of "Goodbye". With such a seemingly pointless nuisance call, I can only assume this is some kind of call to random numbers to establish if a number is a live line that gets answered. I've added this number to barred calls through my landline phone's handset. I've recently also successfully managed to reduce nuisance calls that come from unknown numbers with Anonymous Call Rejection (anonymous) callers. I thought I'd mention this for anyone who doesn't know this
