Had a call from this number saying she was from ee offering 45% off told her I was with o2. 3 minutes later the same woman rings on a different number with the exact same pitch but said she was from o2.
Automated call telling me it was BT calling and my Internet and landline connections were going to be terminated TODAY. To resolve this problem I had to press 1 to be connected to BT technical services to resolve this problem or 2 to allow them to disconnect me. Needless to say I did neither. I suspect this is a complete scam and very dangerous. BT would notify you in writing of any problems like this, well in advance.
The usual "we re here to help you with your Windows PC" scam. These people are criminals, and I wish that we could send the police around to them.
