Had an automated phonecall saying they were from HM revenue and customs saying they were investigating a fraud case in my name. I was meant to press 1 to be put through to the 'agent in charge', at which point I hung up.
SPAM - claims to be from Carphone Warehouse, offering new deals, very aggressively. My spidey senses are telling me it could be a scam, not sure though.

This call lasted only seconds because the line was so appalling. As soon as I heard the crackling I knew it was another criminal who had been given access to my Talk Talk details over a year ago and wanted to persuade me to give him control of my computer. He mentioned my name. After I had repeated "Hello" a few times he rang off.
SCAM - wanted to talk about the account I supposedly set up to make a second income. I didn't do anything of the kind. Goodbye.
SCAM. 019532360947 caiied my landline at 10.20am today. Voice told me that my bank card had been used for purchases from AMAZON. That however just now is impossible! Voice gave me the option to dial 1 to cancel or 2 to talk to an advisor. Used my initiative and cancelled the call. This call was a SCAM phishin for my Bank Details. This number is Dangerous warn others!
