They phone and when I answer they hang up. When I phone back an american voice says the usual ncall is important spiel then they cut u off after 6 minutes. The number is local to me and I can't find out who it is

Don't get the hint when you hang up said was on a list which I wasn't as I asked to be deleted from nuisance calls...so frustrating
Missed call from this number . Tried calling it a couple of weeks later to find that it is not a real number
silent at first - I put the phone down. called back a couple of minutes later - knew my name and started to talk about PPI. Requested to be removed from list and put the phone down. Hoping not to get any more calls - have had 4 or 4 from them over the last couple of days.
