Caled at 16:15. An English accented woman launched into "I'm from the Community Energy Review, & want to tell you I am not selling anything..." I cut her off & told her she was lying, that she wanted someone to check my insulation & that they would be trying to sell me "upgraded" insulation. There was a long silence so I hung up. I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. Something to do with appliance insurance. Keep calling, getting annoying now.

Recieved call from this number on my work phone. I am a building manager located in Auckland, New Zealand and have nothing to do with the locality it is based in. Going by past experience calls to my work phone from overseas numbers are always scams, didn't answer and having looked on this website it appears I was correct.

pretended to me that i had won an electric toothbrush i stupidly supplied some bank details for postage supposedly of 3 then they set up a recurring direct debit and took a further 2499 without my permission so i hurredly blocked them and changed my CC i am still awaiting reimbursment from my bank
