I was led to believe I was paying £58 for the 3 year policy. The only thing which stopped them was that I didn t have enough in the account for the £175 the telemarketer was actually trying to put through!!! Well, there are few numbers with same start and with different last 4 digits - which I assume are part of the same call centre - 845 286 1676, 845 286 8663, 845 286 8646 - all reported this week for multiple calling. Did someone answer one of those? Be aware not to call them back, these lines are for shared rates... This one seems to be the same case.

Just 5 minutes ago. Marie Bardsley from Retro Specialists asking to confirm if I was involved in a car accident that was not my fault. Voice sounded too polished to be from a call centre and hung up before I could determine if it was a robot call. Blimey it must be busy this morning, I was called from 0118 328 0473. My phone number ends in 49403 so I wonder if it is dialling a sequence. Would be interesting if others left the last 5 digits.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls - surveys, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8432632xxx range... People don't fall for it. Did someone answer any number of this range?

Got a call from 01224 515928 on my mobile (which is registered with the telephone preference service). There was a lot of background noise typical of a call centre. Caller asked for FirstName. I said have you heard of the telephone preference service. They either didn't hear what I said or ignored it and asked for FirstName again. I said who is calling. They are now ringing my husbands mobile using one of their other numbers 0161 826 5780 all times of day they dont answer you when you pick it up there is always a voicemail message directing you to hold for their accounts dept and they DENY they are workin for Orange when you do get through so check your facts are correct before making rude assumptions about others.
