Got a call from this London, UK number today to my Finnish cell number, didn't answer. Looking at the previous comments it seems that was the right thing to do.

Someone pretending to be from BT - played along :-) - they wanted me to edit my hosts file I wasted their time as long as I could, then they swore at me and hung up

Repeated, fairly local-to-me, caller who just wont get the message that I am not interested in discussing a phone contract which is NOT mine (they have now been told three times) to discuss with them. I think that they do not believe me, as I can literally hear them "glaze over" and mark my number down for repeat call another time. This latest time- less than 24 hours later.

calling about a government scheme about hew boilers before 2017. same calls previously but just changed the date. these are all automated messages and always call around 9.30am. they are very annoying.
