Attempted bank scam

18 Nov 2021 - Called 18/11/21, claimed to be calling from “uk whitegoods”, which I know is a spares supplier in Scotland. Wanted me to renew washing machine warranty, which he said must have run out by now. Don’t know how he would know that. I told him I’d just taken out cover with home insurance, I then put the phone down. I consider this to be a SCAM, I’m sure they would take your money and you would get nothing in return. Reply
It's a scam. Do not give them access to your computer! Just hung up!
