Had a call at approximately 11.10pm that sounded fraudulent. Have a close relative in hospital with a severe heart condition so have been waiting by the phone for urgent news of their status. We have never had a call of this nature on our landline or at this hour and due to the circumstances it has caused enormous and unnecessary distress. Overwhelmed as i write this.

Automated call stating that an official letter from HMRC tax is on route to me and legal action is being taken. Asks you to press 1 to speak to an official representative. Got to be a scam, I'm employed by the NHS and all my tax & National insurance is sorted by them. Blocked the number, I'll worry when the "official letter" turns up!

Automated call Recieved a call from this number threatening it was a Fraud investigation giving me a reference number then directing me to press one to get through to an agent. If I hung up and ignored the call I may end up with a fine or court proceedings.no reference as to what the call was related to? Very strange and no reason why I would even recieve such a call. Woman with a foreign accent called purporting to be from British Telecom and referring to my Internet connection. I did not let her proceed any further and indicated that I did not have the Internet. She apologised and turn up. I tested the number and it it does not exist, according to the message. Another scam I suspect.

Had this number call me loads and when I finally picked up they asked me about my accident and my scrapped car (they knew the exact model) when I said "I m sorry but I can only speak to my legal team or to people they ve told me I can speak to" she hung up mid sentence so guess that was a scam
