Scam, claiming they will recover money
Pretending to call on behalf of the DVLA. Wanting to know if I owned a diesel car in return for compensation. I didnt confirm. Knew my first name. Got aggressive and refused to remove my details from the database. Threatened me with more calls. Blocked and reported.
They have called us in Athens Greece , 04.15 in the night. Nobody spoke and they hang up.

Fraud SCAM referred to a non-existing Amazon purchase for £400 and then stated that a new purchase for £959 may be fraudulent and to follow their instructions. Checked there was no purchase showing fro £959 and furthermore the caller ID not say which bank was involved!!

Calls from this number (and those ending with a few digits different) regularly received on office and home line. In all cases caller fails to leave message. If a return call is attempted the message is "number not recognised". A typical automated call centre - probably insulation scam or similar.

I have a call blocking telephone but this number rang me at 7.45 am and left no message.
I had missed call on my mobile. I phoned the number from a land-line, and at first there was no answer. It went straight to Vodafone answerphone. I phoned a second time, and a man with a foreign accent answered. I asked who it was but he just said "You phoned me!" He then asked what company I was phoning from. He was quite rude and abrupt. I was called from 07900263683 purporting to be from Virgin Media. The woman indicated that my internet connection was not safe. I hung up as I had been caught in a scam before.
SCAM, claimed to be starling, got angry when I told them I feel it’s scam and will contact via app.
Scammer claiming to be from O2, offering to reduce my bill by 30%. Didn't confirm my name, if it matches the account holder name, or any account details besides the phone number (which they'd just called, so duh...). Just started asking for the verification code they send you by text when accessing your account. The one where the message specifically states not to give the code to anyone, even people claiming to be O2 staff... Probably not calling from Edinburgh either, probably a spoofed number.
SPAM This male is a serial caller to women photographers posing as a customer asking about booking a boudoir session or wedding photography asking innocent then onto inappropriate questions. He has been reported to the police on several occasions. Please report to your local police force to assist in obtaining a court order and then block this number.
