I just got a call from this number. It was a well-spoken English man who said he was from the Call Prevention Service. He said I d joined thier service in August 2015...I hadn t joined anything like that, so i knew it was a scam. He said in November (I think he said the 8th) my 2nd year with them will start. Clearly this is a nuisance and most certainly is unsolicited. Whilst the number appears to be a Manchester number clearly it is not. An elderly family member had a call from this number and in no way could understand the Asian caller. It is probably a fake number. When they ask if I have been in an accident recently my usual answer is to say "You tell me you seem to know".
