First they called tried to confirm that the were speaking to the person they were calling for. Annoyingly they would read back my address. Then they would ask if they could do a short survey. another time they have an Indian accent and sometimes they have an English accent. Sometimes Indian man. The English accent one wanted to know if there was central heating in the house. she went straight into the question despite me telling her she had the wrong name and number. This number together with other number within the range of 07957 422000 to 07957 422999 is being used by the National Crime Agency (NCA) scammers trying to target UK citizens to get them to reveal data to them and probably to ripped off your Bank details. I have had 4 calls in the last 24 hours from 4 seaparate numbers within the above range. I was already aware of this scam so I did not press 1 after listerning to the automated message. Normally I don't answer unknown numbers but expecting an engineer.
I was told that This is The Internet - my bank has mistakenly sent £600 to Western Union - press 1 for help...

Just called again. This time just said internet provider. Had to press one to connect to technician. Put the phone down and reported them to Action Fraud. Also to my internet provider.

Answered the phone and got a recorded message (male, English voice) "our records indicate that you were injured in an accident within the last three years, press 5 to speak to an operator". I pressed 5 and initially heard an office environment then was cut off. On ringing back, I heard the ringing tone but it almost instantly changed to an engaged tone. Don t know who this company is, but they need stopping.
This number is harmless. Is simply the call back service for Chatordate chat line which allows female callers to access the service without paying connection charges from their mobile or landline provider.
