SCAM Ignored call. It went to voicemail and an automated voice left a message saying that there had been some suspicious activity on my Amazon account to the amount of £1,400+ and that my account would be locked and I should press 1 or 2 to sort this out. Obviously I didn't. I've checked my account due to receiving the same message from a mobile number a couple of days before and it's fine.

Received a call from 07520648939, claimed to be from a finance/stock market company- very strong foreign accent. Asked for email address as I didn't have the time to speak, told them to send me an email as they seemed to have my info, but he could only confirm my name, so I hung up. Probably a scam and I have blocked the number now

Calls from 01733 249306 plays recorded message stating debit card has been charged with £900 and to press button to cancel this payment

This is the Lexatrade Internet Number - Scam Broker. He encourages clients to cooperate, provides personal analysts whose main task is to gain the client's trust, and then reset clients' accounts and take their deposits. They have an IFMRRC license - which is not worth much, and certainly does not protect the client's interests. Lexatrade is not authorized to conduct brokerage activities in European countries. They are blacklisted by KNF and CNMV.

Telemarketing

SCAM call asking to speak to a person who doesn't exist at my address - when asked who was calling, he said he was calling about the washing machine warranty that's expired and he was calling to offer a renewal. I asked him what washing machine and he said 'the washing machine manufacturer's warranty - i.e. didn't answer the question. I asked him who the company was and he said PYG - when I said, never heard of them, no such person as you requested and we're on the telephone preference list, he hung up.
