Call centre Fraud, purporting to be from Sky regarding my internet connection, this time it was a sweet talking Asian girl who quite obviously hadn't been speaking English for too long, I interrupted her just a few words into her script and politely advised her that her English was not clear enough to be taken for a genuine Sky customer service adviser, where upon she said softly, OK Mr, and needless to say ended up feeling sorry for her.

I called back the number after abvout the 10th missed call. They are a company called MJE who want me to make a claim for missold PPI due to a loan or credit card. I didn t take PPI so told them they were wrong. Asked how they got my number, they get their phone list from a company called DLG Marketing. Insurance. Very suspicious. The caller claimed to be calling about renewal of an insurance policy on my washing machine. He sounded convincing until he said he wanted to confirm my bank details. I asked him to tell me what details he had and he said he didn't have that information and wanted me to give them to him. Naturally, I refused to do this and he quickjy terminated the conversation. This is probably an attempted fraud.
