Phoned to ask for my daughter who hasn't lived here for years. Hung up abruptly when I said she didn't live here. Claimed she was from Insurance Review. I didn't have this phone number when my daughter lived here and not listed so absolutely no idea how the two were linked.

Silent call Had a call from a Bournemouth number yesterday 01202137558 - same as today, no message left and I didn't pick up. Blocked this and yesterday's number so they'll probably use yet another bogus number next time they call. People who've answered say it's a bogus scam call.

Said they were sky tv and were going to send a new sky box and half my bill. They already had some bank details so I thought it was ok to give out the missing details. STUPID me. Phoned sky they said cancel your card NOW. Cancelled my card. Live and learn. I have been taught a valuable lesson.
