Yesterday afternoon (30.09.2014) I entered my details and mobile number on a site I was purchasing goods from through Amazon. Within the hour I received a call from this number. I didn t answer it as I didn t recognise the number. Instead I did a search for the number and came across this site with the exact same number identified as being related to a scam. Been called four times a day for the past three days from yhis number. Every time is a different scam. First they said they were my bank. Second time they were M&S, third they were trying to "make my computer secure" because they could see it had been accessed from Africa. The scams never end. Finally I said "you do know you re ringing a neighbourhood police station don t you?" And the caller hung up and so far hasn t rung back!

19 Oct 2021 - Claimed to be BT openreach telling me why they were cutting off my internet. When I laughed at the lady, She told me to [email protected] off and hung up on me! Reply

Chap claiming to be "Jim from Unique Preferences" (with a thick Indian accent) wanted to ask me "a few simple yes or no questions". He insisted he was not trying to sell me anything. The purpose of the call was "marketing". He said his company s partners would be able to make me offers which could save me money. When asked who his partners were, he stated that he was not authorised to reveal their names. So I said that I was not authorised to answer any of his questions. He hung up. This is the same scammi

A girl called me 2 hours ago. She wanted to ask some questions and when i said that i dont want to answer she hung up. Such phone scam is really annoying!

Hung up when answerphone cut in.

Text message sent saying monthly payment had not cleared!

So glad I ve just looked on hear, did get them to check and they said yes due for refund, lucky I guess for me I didn t have the funds to pay the £400 fee, but did receive lots of calls and also a solicitors letter, all ignored and haven t heard from them since, thanks to everyone s comments think I ve saved some money

this number keeps phoning me says " I'm not selling" but they obviously are! These calls are driving me mad!
