Lady called in and claimed to be Anna from Amazon webservices. She asked to get contact data from one of my colleagues (who doesn't have Amazon as customer) to schedule a meeting with her boss. As we are located in Germany and my colleague doesn't have business in UK or with Amazon as customer I asked about the topic of this meeting. She claimed to not know that. I suspect this company called my company switchboard based on my LinkedIn profile as I have never supplied my work number outside of work and is not publicly advertised. Cold called to ask whether I had a UK pension because they can give me ?advice?. Yeah right. SCAMRADAR activated.

Received voicemail saying to Call this number before things get worse problems. Immediately called back. No reply. Tried four times. No reply. Eventually was answered. Initially silence then after e a couple seconds heard what sounded like an announcement at a railway station or airport in the background then suddenly went dead. Fraud. Said I had two pending transactions on my Lloyds account, asking for personal details before I ended the call. Confirmed with Lloyds there were no problems or pending transactions on my account.
