AMAZON A lady with an Indian accent said she was from amazon and was calling about my prime account being charged and did I want my money back. I told her I didn't have a prime account. She said if I switch on my computer she will show me. I said why should I switch on my computer to find something that I don't have. She was rude and insistent.

Phone scam from Pakistan claiming to be Three Mobile. When I said how poor Three were and that I would never consider moving to them they became abusive. I blocked the number and they started calling me through WhatsApp using their personal phones (+92 349 4942139, +92 349 4942137 and others) & said if I blocked them again they would find other ways of calling me & continued their abuse. This call was made from an extremely noisy office, where the background noise was so loud that I had real trouble hearing the person on the line. They offered to call back - and did so, but about an hour later. They said they were calling from my phone company about an upgrade, but when I asked them to confirm which phone company, the caller got very annoyed (raised voice) and defensive - and most importantly, couldn't tell me which phone provider asked them to call.

Purported to be Virgin Media reviewing your account to provide the best possible service. They fail on DPA/GDPR as don't seem to understand the principles of validating they are speaking to the account holder. They don't have access to account information such as account numbers, billing area codes etc.
