Reckons they have a cheque for £3100 which they say is PPI I wrongly paid on a loan, a local delivery man would deliver the cheque and when it is cleared and the money is in my account he will call again to collect Paysafe Vouchers for £225 which I have to buy and show to the cheque deliverer before he will hand over the cheque. However the van he had me as owning was from over 5 years ago, so I guess this is some old hacked database and then a scam to get your money. This is just one of many numbers used by this marketing company from Manchester way. They call regally & i just keep blocking the different numbers they use but its starting to niggle me now.

Missed call from this number which left voicemail, very heavy African accent, female automated voice, sounded a bit garbled. Said someone was "filing a lawsuit against you, press one now to talk to your caseworker" I ve heard of this scam doing the rounds, I ve now blocked this number and registered it with "Should I answer" app as dangerous scam.
Didn’t respond to the message as I researched the number first and read a previous comment which suggested it’s a scam. I was suspicious as it’s just from a Mobile number and I have not logged in to any venues?

At best this a company that breaks the PECR regulations by calling people on the TPS list. At worst it s a scam preying on older people because they don t seem to have a website and are asking whether you re over 65. Don t give them any information, just report them to the Information Commissioner s Office. T
