Can you call me back please on this number" Both my sons and my only daughter were sitting in my living room with me at the time as they are staying with us for Christmas!. Nice try scammers . Had a call from this number on my landline at 5:30pm on Wednesday 26th July. Heard two voices on the line when I answered - one a lady who identified herself by name & said she was a local energy adviser (although this phone number is not local to me) but did not give a company name, the other a gentleman talking in a foreign language. I explained there was some cross-talk on the line & ended the call. I doubt this is a legitimate call, especially as most companies I deal with use my mobile number a

Nuisance calls from this number always says its from Microsoft. Thinks its a scam when you ask a question they hang up. Annoying tell them to get a job if they can't live off the benefits and have to resort to this.

TAXES / HMRC Fraud SCAM TAXES / HMRC Answered the phone as it was a mobile number and when I said hello and it was about 3 seconds before an automated voice started saying they were from HMRC so hung up
SPAM Although this call comes up as being from Southampton; it is not. Both my husband and I have had this call several times. On examination, the very nice lady called Jenny said she was calling from South East Asia. I was polite to her and asked that we are taken off he calling list as these continous calls were an absolute nuiscance.

Called this number on what appeared to be a chasing letter for £2,490 from EON, when queried on the call the lady advised it was debt collection service. I did not carry on with the call, checked my account and called EON direct who confirmed this was not from them

This number is a scam number - phoning about My MS computer, which I don't have. As soon as I challenged she hung up. The accent was foreign, but using common English forename- it is 100% a scam line.

Caller definitely had a "British" accent (though I know there isn't just one - he was definitely a native English speaker though) but really didn't annunciate when he was speaking so I struggled to understand him. He backtracked several times when I called him out on what he was saying. Was rude, dismissive and persistent despite me keeping saying I was not interested in talking with him about my life insurance - all in all a pretty horrible experience
Fraud - claim to be calling from the security department of my bank (not naming the bank) about two card transactions this morning, one of £300 for Amazon and one of £1.100 on Amazon. Press 1 to authorise payments, press 2 to speak to customer service advisor. I hung up.

Automated message claiming to be from "Bank Security", however poor grammar and called a business landline. Therefore, I suspect it's a spam/phishing message.
Another scam call from "The Advisors", trying to sell premium savings on life insurance. 'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! It's the second call I've got from 'Paul' at The Advisors this week, I blocked his previous number, which was 07723553123. You can spot a pattern in these numbers, they're 0772355xxxx. Safe number I received a missed call from this number but none of the 'who called me' websites had any comments and I wanted to know who had called. As the number is local to me, I took a chance and called them back, It's the Boots Opticians Appointment Booking Centre so it's quite safe. They have written to me several times as I'm due for my eye test but I just hadn't got around to making an appointment. I'm leaving this comment just to let other searchers know who called.

After picking up the call, a recorded message to let us know the call is recorded played. Once over the line was dropped from their end. A call from "Go Pro services" was expected, perhaps this was a Go Pro service agent? The result of poor training perhaps?

Scam. They ask for personal information and try to steal your card details, acting in a professional manner over the phone call. Never reveal any personal info. Rather ask them to verify what they know about you and perhaps you may have a chance to find out where they got your phone number or data from.
