SCAM. The caller was a woman claiming to be based in Cape Town, South Africa. She further claimed to be from the energy company – E.ON – that supplies me with electricity. She knew or guessed my first name, and asked for confirmation of details of my name and mailing address. However, she did NOT ask for – nor did she receive – my e˗mail address, my account number, or any bank or credit card or debit card details. Furthermore, she did not ask for immediate payment. Have nothing to do with this number.

Call received to my mobile 13.19 11/2. I get very few incoming calls hence suspected Spam call immediately. Decided to answer to have a bit off fun with the likely scammer but call cut off by the other party (remote dialler ?) as I went to answer. Said that they were from PC World/ Currys. Wanted to know my phone make and network. Proceeded to tell me to go to Hell when I refused to say.
