I think this was a scam call, recorded message saying This is a call from fraud an amount of £800 used for an American online gambling please press 1 to speak to an agent. Which I did and the message repeated

This phone number has been an issue with my house phone. This number has appeared on my VM bill for the moths of Oct, Nov,Dec,Jan ,Feb and March before I realised I had not made the call. It appears every 12 hours as a call that lasts less than 1 minute and each call is charged at 39 pence . Does not sound a lot until you add it up over the period of time which then accounts for over £60.00.

SCAM Indian sounding lady, rang twice this week saying they were from BT openreach that there had been a security breach on my internet line trying to hack my broadband, she couldnt tell me any details, so assuming this was a scam I said its fine theres nothing on my laptop for hackers to get, she then wanted my mobile phone details to show me what was happening, I then told her I didn't bring my phone to work and she got angry and said fine if you dont want to protect your line then hung up !!

This is I believe a Manchester UK Local area number left on my 1471 record. I do not recognise the number. On the tellows lokup, it comes up as an Indian number. I ll notify you if it calls again. The captcha looked like diw64, the d was mistaken for a p in the distorted image.

I do know they used to be a company called Lombard Legal who were based in liverpool and the man behind this was christian carney who employed his staff as directors. SCAM Claimed she was "'Yennifer' from 'Wirgin' media technical department"! Woman had very 'thick' 'Indian'-style accent. She said "oh, oh, oh," when I said I was busy & I would ring Virgin later. She'd done the "How are you this morning?", like a lot of the phone scams do. Nothing was said about security questions! Suspect this was another scam call.

Sounds like the same as everyone else. Apparently, there s a warrant for our arrest. The start of the message was cut off so it s not clear what I m going to be arrested for, but considering the number he wants me to call isn t one from HMRC I doubt it s genuine.
Indian scammers now have the facility to send information to your phone that displays a different number to where they are phoning from. Hence this number does not belong to the scum trying to tel me they are from Amazon and have that I have just been charged for an Iphone 7 for £350 which has been deducted from my bank account. Total rubbish of course as they just want you to give them your bank account details.
