Called into my office at a large corporate, asking for the husband of a former colleague who left the business 2 years ago.

I said we weren t interested in going through a broker. "We are not a broker." Ended up asking them under the GDPR to remove my details and to stop calling.

They are claiming I've had an accident on the road. Bogus caller

Definitely a scam, automated call stating my National Insurance number was at risk of being put on hold due to it being linked to illegal activity.

Called my phone was switched off. Called it back,said I had called an invalid number. Avoid.

They had the cheek to call me again - when I was busy of course - with their wretched recorded message saying it was not too late. I think they can be prosecuted for this harassment and dishonesty, pretending people have claims when they know nothing about whether they have or not, and be heavily fined. If they are, perhaps others will not follow their example. I do not worry for myself, but people who fall for their smooth talking. I got a call from this number regarding PPI. I told the caller I wasnt interested & put the phone down. He then RANG ME BACK & demanded to know why Id hung up on him when I hadnt heard what he had to say. I told him I still wasnt interested but he persisted so I just kept saying ovet & over Im not interested until he lost his temper & hung up. Victory for me!!!

A man called, asking to speak to me (so knew my mobile number and name) and said he was from some pensions advisor service. Same questions as previous calls, was I aware of recent pension changes in the law etc. I was a bit vague so he said he would pass me onto a senior advisor at which point I hung up.

CVD, pain in the backside wanting me to renew my van insurance, these calls every hour or so plus calls and texts to my mobile and also emails. Considering they have already quoted me their best price that is double what i have found on comparison sites, i dont think they will be getting my business anymore! harassing calls.

Called trying to arrange a survey of the property for Solar Panels, told that they were not trying to sell me anything (yeh right) but a surveyor just happens to be in the area. Made no mention of the fact that they were fined £80,000 last month by the ioc for lying to people over the phone.
