I just got a call claiming (falsely) to be from this number, claiming (again falsely) that it was BT Openreach (or something). When I politely declined, the caller said (as they hung up) "Fuck you, fuck you in the face". Which may well have been the only genuine thing about the call. Suspected Spam warning on my (smart call function) number recognition. I do not know anyone from Northern Irland; neither I was expecting any call at the moment. I accepted but kept my silence, and silence was maintained on the other side as well. It seems to be an autonomous call dial (voice recognition) to check if anyone answers and consequently confirm that numbers are actively being used by potential victims. There were no further attempts to call my number nor any voice or text messages afterwards.

Wife took a call on our landline from 'Amazon', for me saying (female voice, foreign accent) Prime membership was about to expire and I should renew at 79.99 or cancel. The call was not responded to. To my knowledge I'm not currently a prime member (and usually careful to not accidentally become so when ordering!). I would not expect such calls from Amazon anyway, so seems that Prime was being used as a excuse to go phishing/scamming?
