this number is the same as mine apart from the last 2 digits, when googling the number some very strange results appear.
SCAM - Recorded message claiming to be VISA saying 2 large purchases had been made on my visa card (I don't have one) so deffo a scam. Shame it was a recorded message or I would have been happy to insult them in new and inventive ways.
Called multiple times and at stupid hours. Midnight I received 3 missed calls and a voicemail which was just music playing, whereas the voicemail left in the day he was a "recruiter". Do not answer.

This number called me today at 10,00 am, claiming to be from 02. I hung up immediately.

Answer phone and they just hang up they have done this several times now and it's very annoying.
Utilities Said they were from Virgin media, Indian Accent, knew my name. Said they wanted to make sure is was getting the best service then asked for first line of address and post code, which i didn't give. My view is that if I felt I wasn't getting a good service then I would contact them. All in all an unwanted call.
SAID THEY WERE FROM MICROSOFT AND THAT HACKERS HAD GOT INTO MY COMPUTER.

Called me twice. Today I checked the number. The pitch: calling from my mobile provider to offer a 30% discount off my bill, then they want to know how much you pay for your bill. If you say sure - they will try and set this up on the phone, or direct you to your provider website. like this is an option, I chose my provider's website, they hung up. Today's call it was the 30% discount again - and hung up.

If this was my bank they would identify themselves as such, and offer data to prove this. This is likely a scam, and best thing to do is hang up. Caller said name was Mick from Petronagroup. Called from London 02080973588. Tried to get me to download Anydesk App (giving them remote access). I said no to that! My opinion DON'T GET INVOLVED WITH PETRONAGROUP - they lost my money (£250 and were forever asking for more funds to invest). Then they closed my account so that I could no longer Log in. I have been arguing with Fabio, Martin at Petronagroup via WhatsApp for refund and believe this a scam that I will now report to ActionFraud.
Silent call - hung up after a few seconds without saying anything. Number now blocked & reported to Ofcom.
Best for business communications, only wanting to speak to the MD.

This number is used by an Oven-Cleaning service - I tried to use them a couple of years ago but they would never come when I wanted them to. After getting my money back from the bank I told them that I did not want their services any more. Since then I have received literally hundreds of calls, all saying that they would like to confirm a time and date for their visit - I have asked them to stop but they are relentless. I have also blocked various numbers, at least 20 but they still call.
