A 'heads-up' for yet another scam. Today so far we have had three calls on our land line, apparently from "banking security", an electronic type message as such, saying we have pending a £300 payment to Amazon and a £1100 international funds transfer, press 1 to pay or press 2 to cancel.
That is what I've been trying to find out. Three web sites I've tried. none gave me the answer, WHO PHONED ME, waste of space, I'm still none the wiser
I had met my ex wife in college and we were a big part of each others push to sucess. we have been good all through our 15 years of marriage not until I noticed she's been distant and wanting to keep more to herself. I wasn't bothered at first since she can be like that sometimes. this went ahead for quite a while, then I became overtly suspicious when I asked to use her room desktop and she refused. My work phone was called by this number, and got a recorded message, ostensibly from my bank, saying the two large transactions, one of which was to Amazon for £999 had been blocked, and said that I had a choice to either release the transactions or speak to a representative. This number is supposedly based in Slough, but that's not where my bank is, so I ignored it.

I phoned this number back but it said that someone is on the phone and asked you to leave a message. This is a SCAM phone number.

A very professional and complicated Fraud/Scam, even the authorities will believe Dean Brewer and his company is very innocent. If you have been a victim of a fraudulent scam and lost money, Dean will say he can get 'All' your money back if you give him £100 per case. You will never get the £100 back as Dean steals it and hides the money. Only UK banks and the real authorities can only get your money back.

Received this call today. It came approximately 30 minutes after a call from a Cambridge number 01223 931995. The Cambridge number went dead on answering. The 01330 563426 number allowed me to answer, and an automated message said it was the HMRC and that I would be fined. You could press 1 to talk to an agent. I hung up. You cannot ring back. The number identifies the message as RoyalMail contacting me. The mispelling of Royal Mail is reason enough to be suspiciouss. The asked me to click a link to redirect me to a web page to arrange delivery of a parcel they couldn't deliver. I have nothing on order and I am sure Royal Mail would not mispell their own name or contact me from a mobile. 100% a scam if like my elderly mother, you now look these strange numbers up online before responding.

Told the caller his records were out of date as they were the last time he called.... so I don't think we have anything to discus. Hung up. Last previous call was from 02394352784 26 April 23 at 0832hrs.
