Probably spamming the number - call was the HMRC, "warrant for your arrest" spam call. Answered in English by someone without a strong accent, who seemed non-plussed when I suggested what he could do to himself
It claimed to be from Amazon, saying a large purchase had been made on my account. Press 1 for information. I put the phone down. On checking my Amazon account, all the purchases were correct. This was a scam

I've been getting exactly the same for past few days. always busy when you ring back. Strange to say the least.
was called today 21/05/2021 at 13.49 pm and the caller said someone had been doing illegal things on my network. i ended the call.
A cold caller who wanted to know how my investments were doing. He claimed we had spoken before, which we had not. To his credit, he did end the call as soon as I told him that I had absolutely no interest in discussing my finances with him.
