Each time I make a purchase from Amazon, an automated call comes from this number, advising me that my Amazon Prime has been renewed for another year at a cost of £79.99, and asking me to press 1 to cancel or 2 to confirm. I do not subscribe to Amazon Prime and have checked my Amazon account to confirm this. The number has called on 3 occasions on 1 day.

Was called by this number several times, when i tried to call it back i just got a recorded message, it did not say who the caller was. However a week or so later i received a letter from Yorkshire Water saying they wanted to change my water meter and it had this number on the letter.

These people are from a company called Ultimate Contact Solutions. The only reason they are calling you is to get you to call back (money making) and to confirm a contact number is active so they can sell it on. If you are unlucky enough to answer and stupid enough to ring back they then pump you for your details, and if able to other family members details so they can sell your details at a higher price and get an extra sale from your family s details. Got the same type of call - a recorded message Talking about a grand and Pensions and that I m under 60 - Wrong .... Press 5 or 9 - I chose to do neither. It has to be some kind of marketing call. Avoid. They ll probably be trying to get some part of your pension pot for themselves. I m on the TPS so shouldn t be getting this type of call.
