I didn't catch the company name but it was something to do with home cover - the man asked if I was me, so I said no but could I help. He said he was ringing about the cover on the washing machine at (gave my address), he said it had expired and he just wanted to check if the machine was still in good working order. British male voice wanted to discuss our electricity contract. We are happily in a contract with EON which isn?t due for renewal and we are on the TPS. Told home I didn?t want to discuss it and to take our details off his system, and then I put the phone down.
Did not answer call as number not in my contacts list. No message left on voicemail which is a bad sign. Tip if someone wants to get hold of you, they will leave a message, if no message, then either telemarketing or spam or scam callers
