Got a phone call fr this number but didn't pick up. Someone calls from the UK? I am from Germany and don't know anyone personally there.
This number rang said it was query about an amazon high value purchase gave his name as John. When asked what his name was he asked why have you rung me. Very dodgy call
SCAM can't call back, says the number doesn't exist. I've had 12 calls today from this and similar numbers all allegedly in Bodmin.

They disguise as a competition that you can win £1000 in vouchers then ask you for your sort code of your bank card under pretext that you won the draw and to redeem the money you are required to prove my identity. Please do not share any of the personal details over the phone unless you are certain that the details are safe from scam or fraud!!!

Sounded like a recording kicking in then female voice. I just hung up.
Definitely a scam, someone called using a VOIP program, could hear the tell-tale audio noise as well as the delayed relayed connection. Claimed to be from O2 offering a 50% discount on my monthly call plan, let him get so far into his spiel until he said he was going to send me two codes. Red flag behaviour; never give anyone your text-acquired code, it is to hijack your online account.
