This is the number for a scammer. They call up claiming to be from your ISP and ask you to run a remote desktop access program so they can do god knows what with it. I kept them on the line for some time pretending to be an idiot before I finally let them know they were rumbled.

They were very rude and abusive, they don’t take no for an answer even if you tell them you work for BT. They just get nasty if you don’t agree to what they want you to do - just hang up on them. Sadly BT won’t do anything to close these numbers down so BT

I had send a mail to HSBC and this number rang me back to discuss the matter. The woman on the other end of the line wanted me to confirm my e-mail address and then answered my query. So unless someone hacked the e-mail system of HSBC, I m pretty sure it s a legit number.
I received 6 calls in a day from this number! Now I ve blocked it and they are trying to call me again. It is just unwanted telemarketing. They shouldn t call too many times.
