Very dodgy guy called through my wife s number trying to get to me having emailed her and not me first. An obnoxious guy called Graham Hamilton wouldn t give the name of the company. Google them to see their practices. They re based in Glasgow and there are dozens of reports of them scamming and intimidating people. Don t even answer the phone to them.
Recorded call advising me that my internet will be disconnected within the next 12 hours unless I press 1 on my phone now. Just put phone down.probably expensive to press 1.
I am registered with the TPS and yet today I've had 2 Indian scam call centres pestering including what this one appears to. I rarely use landline so I just unplugged it after the second time. Absolute scam artists.
The Caller states they are from Amazon and calling to update my Prime Account, asked me to go on My Computer, as I'd just arrived home, I had to wait for My computer to start, I was asked, do You use your computer for more than Amazon,online Shopping ,E-bay and do You Bank Online,straight away,I smelt a Rat and cut the call, they called back 3 times,I have informed Amazon. Collect as much info from them, such as Web Address.
