Indian sounding man called claiming to be from BT and telling me i have a problem with my liine and wanting me to turn on my computor even though im not a BT customer then calling back as Jack and prtending to be from my provider but using the same number
They keep calling but cannot get through because my Call Guardian challenged them, but the number is on my Call list. Every day they call. Sometimes the number appears as 00144 1234919006, this is because they are altering their calling ID on a computer. I believe this is another Indan/Packi scam. They call and want to do Life Style Survey and will ask how you pay for Sky, BT or other utility. He knew my name, wife's name, daughter's name, address, post code and that I was with BT. Well for a start I am not with BT and when he asked if I paid my telecoms bill by direct debit then it was time to politely tell him goodbye.
