Answered call but nobody replied. My phone said missed call.

I just answered a call from this number but did not speak - a trick I use to "fool" automated systems into thinking that nobody picked up. The call hung up after 6 seconds or so with nobody attempting to speak from the other end. This is typical behaviour of auto-diallers so I guess it was someone trying to sell something. I ve added the number to my phone s blocked list.
SCAM - they have hundreds of numbers and keep calling even if you block them. 020 3256 and then different numbers like 5357 or 5351 - theyve called 33 times today and ive blocked every number they try. This has got to be illegal?

Who are these people always calling me
September 24 at 1006 hrs. Asian sounding female caller said she was from Benefits UK, and asked for me by my surname, which I didn t confirm. I said that I m sick of getting calls from you, and have already told you not to ring me again. She was trying to keep me talking, and wouldn t listen to the fact that I wasn t going to be engaged in conversation. I said that I was going to block the number, and she eventually did hang up before I did. I think that she was wanting me to take part in a "survey".

Automated voice, said it was Amazon but quoted wrong Prime renewal amount. Could dangerous.
