26/07/2016 Scam call reported by Neil Indian man saying he is from BT. I asked for his number, he gave me this one. Told me to press Windows key and R. Then asked to enter eventvwr and showed me loads of errors and warnings in Admin Events. Said he would help me fix them. Asked me to enter Windows key and R and then type cmd. Then wanted me to type ASSOC in the command window. I refused. He said my internet would be cut off for six months if I didn't follow his instructions. I didn't, and it won't be!
Caller said he was John but had an Asian accent. Said he was calling on behalf of Windows and it was about my computer. I told him that I knew all about these type of scams at which point he hung up.
